Introductory Image

Postby Athyr » Tue Dec 15, 2009 4:07 pm

I made the bridge with two cylinders- boolean cut.
Standard trees - re-materialized and the terrain/rocks texture is one I made a while back.
Little plants and Wisteria fronds found out there on free pages.

Thanks Mannie- I have been to your gallery and enjoy your work a great deal. Lovely and something to aspire to.
I forgot to mention that some of the plants are from the Mega Pack and I used a lot of lighting tips from GeekatPlay. I'll tell you, lighting is everything.
I am going to have to tweek down the leaves from the tree that are too big in the foreground- or select a finer leaved tree.
The link to full size image in the original post does not work properly- they have it defaulting to 600px in their script - so here is the link to the page, just click on the image for the blow up.

I had a line of trees back there Mannie- and somehow they disappeared and I didn't notice till I came in and it was about rendered. Blah. Disappearing eco-system strikes again.

Thanks Vovka

This is beautiful ;) The lighting is great! I'm very bad with lighting myself.
