LOL

How about Vue 8 :wink:

As for a contest - you could pick a landscape page like this one http://www.pbase.com/plischeid/scenery&page=all
and let everyone pick one and re-create it in Vue.

Well I would like to take a shot at a prize

I already have V8 Complete, and my email is already on junk lists ;{

But I would like V8 Infinite all and the Geek at play tutorials and content packs like Mega packs and so on.

If you do a contest please mention it at Renderosity. I check there daily and post there often.

I think anybody that gets a prize should agree to offer their scene file and any associated textures to the community. Assuming that the content or scene file is theirs to give. ("Theirs to give" now that can be a real can of worms)

And it would be nice to make it easy for those people to upload their content somewhere online to have it available for download to the Geek At Play community.

V8I YES V8I YES V8I YES

Also that landscape link is a great idea mentioned just before my post here. But someone would need to snap shot the pages. You would not want the user to change or delete something that a person is basing their Vue work on during the contest.

Multiple camera animation

One of the greatest new features in Vue 8 in my opinion is the ability to animate and switch between cameras (multiple camera animation).

I would like to suggest an idea for the “something crazy coming”. That would be say, a 5 second animation, containing an airplane (or any kind of airship) and a scenario of any kind, clouds, forests, lakes, etc.

We could post links on the forum, so everyone would be able to watch them. I bet we will be seeing lots of good stuff.

I think the competition could be just a scene made entirely in Vue with no imports except from what is available on this site or Corucopia.This would keep the playing feild more level. Then the prize could besomething like the Megapack 3 or somthing else created by Geekatplay.

That's a great idea and makes a good website even better. Photoshop Cafe (where I pretty much live) does this once a year...go here to find out what (and how) they do. Best of luck!
